Arrived at my door really fast. Package was in good shape, no damage to package or contents. The nuts looked really fresh just as pictured. The best test were the squirrels, they went nuts. They loved them all, almonds, walnuts, pecans and filberts.

I was feeding peanuts as treats to the many squirrels that visit my yard. I read it’s not the best choice so I decided to order some in the shell nuts and Anuts.com was recommended. The cost of shipping was a bit shocking but if you look at other sources that offer Free Shipping, the price on the nuts are much much more. The costs even out.
My experience was fantastic, they tell you what the best choices are for the squirrels are, The nuts look fantastic and the squirrels absolutely LOVE them. They’ve learned I’ve for the “good stuff” now, and will wait for me to break them out. They even turn up their noses to peanuts when they think they’ll get a giant pecan or walnut. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well, Fantastic experience!

The nuts arrived pretty quick and are very fresh. I had forgotten what fresh nuts taste like. I hadn't had nuts in a shell since I was a kid and was caught off guard by the prices, in general once I started looking. The prices at anuts.com were good, especially considering how fresh they are. I paid more for worse on amazon. This was my first order with anuts.com and not my last!

The squirrels in my yard just love these nuts! There are no Brazils, which are not good for squirrels. Every morning I set a bowl full on my deck and watch the squirrels empty the bowl, run off into the yard or field and hide them. These nuts are also good to eat, but I do buy them for the squirrels. Plus, with anuts you receive good prices and fast shipping. I have never been disappointed with their products or their service.

I've been ordering these nuts for my squirrels for about 6 months now and am very happy (as are the squirrels). With the swiftness of delivery and the quality of the nuts, I'll keep ordering these until I have "no more squirrels), so basically, the rest of my life!! I have one suggestion though, less walnuts and more Filberts. The Filbert's are smaller and are easily carried by the squirrels. (A squirrel with 2 walnuts in his cheeks is quite a site to see!!) Definitely a product I will continue buying!!

Honestly - I have no idea how good these nuts are or aren't. I suppose if I were smart, I'd crack a few and enjoy them myself!
I have this 'memorandum of understanding' with the local squirrel population that says that as long as I provide hard nuts for them to keep their little squirrel teeth ground down regularly, they won't chew up MY stuff instead (house, drip system, law furniture, etc). While not an inexpensive solution, the MOA is holding for the time being, saving me a great deal of aggravation and expense on that side.

There are a variety of nuts, very fresh. I purchased this box of nuts to give to the squirrels and they love them. I portion out a variety each day and there are never any left at the end of the day. I have actually cracked open a few of the walnuts and almonds and they have a good flavor. I will purchase again when I run low.

I’ve ordered the mixed nuts several times and the quality of the nuts is always very good. I don’t know who decided that raw nuts in shell are a seasonal winter food item but I can assure them they are delicious and nutritious all year! They stay fresh for months when kept in the freezer. The only thing I have noticed is the mix can vary quite a bit from one order to the next. Sometimes only a couple of walnuts, then the next time half the bag is walnuts. No big deal, at least there aren’t any of those awful Brazil nuts.

I get these nuts to spoil the squirrels on my property. They’re always a hit, especially with the grey squirrels. They typically arrive very fast. My only concern is the price is increasing. I buy these nuts for the squirrels and they love them! I fill a bowl in the early morning and nothing is left after about an hour. It's also fun to watch them take the nuts and run out into the yard to hide or carry them back to their nests.

I have bought several pounds of these nuts for the neighborhood squirrels. I put them in a squirrel feeder every morning before work. We have about 5-6 that visit daily and they love the nuts! The quality and price per pound is definitely worth it. I haven’t found a better price or quality anywhere else. Shipping is quick, and the packaging is great.
The squirrels do not touch any of my bird feeders, including the blue jay platform feeder with peanuts in the shell because they have their own nut station.
Everyone is happy in my yard including my family! Thank you for the awesome quality my squirrels are enjoying!

I volunteer at a wildlife rescue. The need for nuts in shell skyrockets during baby feeding and adult rehab in the summer months. These nuts are well received by the patients, come well packaged, and the price is great. Definitely recommend.

I order these primarily to feed the neighborhood squirrels, although I occasionally enjoy some. I used to order from another company through a major online site, but that was actually more expensive and had far too many brazil nuts. One of the primary reasons for my first order of these was the lack of brazil nuts. For those who aren't aware, both peanuts and brazil nuts are not healthy for squirrels. Peanuts are not actually nuts, but legumes, and they contain a trypsin inhibitor that interferes with nutrient absorption. Brazil nuts are actually a seed, and are very high in selenium. This can make a squirrel seem "drunk", or worse, and should be given only in small amounts as a treat. (Note: even 2 or 3 brazil nuts eaten by a person can exceed the maximum recommended intake level of selenium.) I have a large bag of leftover brazil nuts from my previous orders from the other vendor.
If brazil nuts do become easily available again, I urge anuts.com to offer a version of the in shell mixed nuts without them (like these).

Better than ever quality! My squirrels come to the door early every morning to get their nut fix. It's amazing to see them pick out their favorite nut. I have several squirrels who can't wait to get the walnuts. Then I have others who prefer the pecans and hazelnuts. I have one black squirrel that stuffs his mouth full of almonds (at least three at a time) and heads for home every day. It's very funny to watch their antics!!

I love and feed my local squirrels, and this year I added these to the buffet. Big hit. Big. In order, I put out a seed and peanut mix in the feeders, then I toss peanuts under the trees/across the lawn, and then I toss these. The other day one little guy was waiting for me, so I tossed some peanuts from the mix right at his feet. Nothing. More peanuts. I got a dirty look. Finally I tossed him a handful of these, he grabbed a walnut, flicked his tail in disgust at my slowness on the uptake and ran off. Like I said, big hit.

Admittedly, got these for the squirrels. Started the long path of proper squirrel nutrition, and ended up here. I would say I, and the squirrels, are very happy with this product. Another legacy item related to this Gma. Nuts in shells were normal when I was growing up and to make that pecan pie or add walnuts to fruit salad, I got to shell them, and taste test, along the way. So glad Anuts is my go to for supporting this. Always fresh and arrival is within a week.

My squirrels go nuts over these nuts! I have been able to almost hand feed them because they love them so much! I throw a few out every other day or so and they know and come jumping! I havn't got their language down pat just yet... but from the chatter they display while eating the nuts, I would say they approve!

I was really surprised, but the squirrels actually prefer these nuts to the shelled ones I used to buy. Plus, these don't attract the pesky, aggressive bluejays like the shelled nuts did.

I grew up on a pecan orchard in central Texas enjoying fresh nuts in the fall and winter. The experience made me a nut critic (snob). My order was delivered fast and the quality is fantastic! The best!

These squirrels are so spoiled now, I'll open the door and 2-3 will be waiting on my porch! Looking at me with those beady, demanding "where's my food, punk?" look on their faces. : )
I swear I think they go around telling other squirrels about my stash.
Thankfully, these are more affordable than other places I've looked (Amazon).
When I drive up in my car, they come from the shadows to the spot I feed them and just stare at me! I'm afraid if I don't keep this up, they'll destroy my home, flatten my tires, etc...
Seriously, I used to just feed them peanuts but read peanuts have very little nutritional value for them, so I decided to be nice and give them "gourmet" nuts. No Brazil nuts, which can be harmful to those pesky, needy, overbearing critters.

My blue jays love these nuts, and so do the squirrels. I have ordered a baffle to keep the squirrels out of a platform feeder so I will see how it goes. These were by far the best! I would buy a couple times a month. I also put in a large order for 31 lbs. I was about to put in another order for that, however I noticed the price increase and it’s no longer affordable. I really enjoyed ordering this the joy it brought every time UPS showed up. My first order of 4 lbs was a fairly good mixture of nuts but it seemed like it favored more towards the almonds and the hazelnuts. With a fewer pecans and walnuts. My second order was a 10 lb bag of the same nuts and it yielded a much better mixture with more walnuts and pecans to offset the too many of almonds and hazelnuts in my last order. Occasionally there is an empty almond or hazelnut but not too bad at all! In general I really like the supply/cost of these nuts and they seem to be very fresh. Will continue to be a customer!

Ordered the nuts in the shell listed as for squirrels. Expected some broken or discolored ones. But to my surprise, they are all perfect looking! Whole and looking great enough to eat, ourselves. (I'm fact, had to yell at my husband to stop eating the squirrels' nuts, hahaha!) If not for the Pandemic, I would never buy raw nuts in a shell. I am obsessed with feeding the birds and squirrels in our urban neighborhood and there are many who arrive every morning for their treats. I buy these for my squirrel buddies and they can't get enough! Minimal number of cracked nuts. The nuts are the biggest in size compared to any other stores/ websites I have purchased from. Even with the shipping cost, I still feel this is the best deal for in shell nuts.

The nuts are extremely fresh and they come nicely packaged in a ziploc bag. They were also delivered in a very timely manner. Price was definitely reasonable. I would recommend this place to anybody if you want fresh nuts.

I sampled a few of these nuts, to make sure they were not rancid, before I gave them to the squirrels. They were all fine and the little rascals hang from the screens, looking for handouts. Working on that little problem. I will reorder often, this winter.

I'm so glad to get this mix without the brazil nuts because I give them to the squirrels and brazil nuts are bad for them. Actually lethal to them, so I'm glad I found a place I could buy the nuts and not have to pick out all the brazil nuts.

can never find locally except around Christmas and Walmart has discontinued their Holiday mixed nuts starting in 2019. Finally found your company in May of 2020. I order nuts for my 3 grey squirrels. The quality of your nuts is unmatchable. The quality and the price make anuts my first choice hands down. The only complaint I have is I see quite a few nuts with Cracked shells. Idk if there’s anything wrong with them, but I won’t take any chances with my animals. I recommend anuts to anyone who asks.

I am raising a baby squirrel and I am glad I found this site. Our little orphan is growing and getting stronger day by day. The mixed nuts are perfect for him. Far superior to any we had ever purchased in the supermarket. We did notice a number of hazelnuts were bad this year though. They were either very small or quite shriveled. You couldn't tell by the shells. However the rest of nuts were really good so I am still rating a 5 overall.

I have no idea why nuts in shell are a seasonal food, but am really glad anuts is here to sell me such high quality, delicious, nutritious food that is a staple of my diet.
These are great quality, shipped quickly and I hate Brazil nuts so was very pleased to get a mix of only nuts I like and none that I don’t.

My neighborhood squirrels are very happy with the excellent quality of these nuts. My tame ones have been hanging from all kinds of branches to take them from my fingers and I seem to have scored some newcomers who are turning into regulars. These type of nuts are hard to find where I live - I have 4 Squirrels that come on my deck twice a day waiting for me to give them their beloved Nuts ! It gets quite expensive so I wish these nuts weren't so much but I can't resist seeing how happy my little squirrels are - they also look much healthier now - tails used to be kind of scraggly and thin - they are nice and thick now so I'm assuming it's the regular diet of mixed nuts !

This purchase was a donation to the Cape Fear Parrot Sanctuary in Wilmington, NC. They provide a forever home to over 350 parrots, macaws and cockatoos.

I used to buy nuts in the shell at Fleet Farm for a ridiculous price. They discontinued carrying them and I was forced to try and find somewhere else to buy them. That's how I found anuts. I buy these "in the shell" nuts for my large Macaw parrot as part of a balanced, natural diet for her. She loves them! One macaw eats all the nuts - the other doesn't like the pecans.
I pick the pecans up and give them to the other bird!
Of course the price could be lower, it costs me a lot of money to feed my birds.
I usually buy out the holiday nuts at Walmart when they go on sale after the holidays for 1.00/Lb. I bought some here to tide me over until then!

I purchased these for human consumption, I was a little worried because it seemed by the reviews that most people purchase these for birds or squirrels. I was looking for mixed nuts in the shell because they are next to impossible to find here in the Northeast unless it's around the holidays. Unfortunately, this season I was only able to find them once and it was small bag. I really like to have them on hand because my children enjoy them and they are a healthy snack. When they are in the shell it's much harder to overeat them and they are truly a heathy snack that way. Our household of 7 blew through all of them in no time and I'm about to place a second order!

I have a few squirrels who like to stop by throughout the day. I crack open some nuts for them to enjoy. When they are full, they reject the nut by not taking it from my hand. These mixed nuts in the shell met all our expectations. The variety, taste, freshness, quality were right on. We love them. There was not a bad nut on the bunch. Delivery was fast and packaged in a zip lock bag and shipped right to our door. The price was the best that we could find. I would recommend anuts.com to everyone. They are a quality company from my experience.

I used the nuts in 150 gift bags, along with fruit and candy for a nostalgic holiday theme. They were very fresh, and arrived in a timely manner. The price was also quite reasonable in comparison to other sites I had searched. I would use anuts, again!

I ordered these nuts -- not to eat, but to make several "nut wreaths" ... they were beautiful when they arrived ... several varieties, and I have used some of them for eating, too .... delicious, fresh, beautiful ...and MUCH appreciated!!! I had thought of getting some at our local market, but none at the store came anywhere near the freshness, the perfect condition, and the beauty of the ones I ordered from anuts!!!

I am so happy I bought a lot of mixed nuts from anuts.com this year! I put a bowl out as soon as they arrived ( and that was speedy). I have had to refill that bowl so many times because everyone who visits goes right to that bowl. The nuts are fresher than what we have purchased at grocery stores the last few years. I will always order our nuts from you anuts from now on.

Word is out as soon as the ANUTS box is delivered and our little habitat is filled with happy squirrels and jays and other critters. It makes our day to see them gather and wait for their daily servings. Second or third generation squirrels now, grandparents raised on ANUTs and all generations healthy and happy as can be.

I order these a lot. Would order more if there was a break on the shipping. This time there weren't as many pecans or hazelnuts as in the past so they didn't last as long. My squirrels didn't seem to notice however. Love the product, will order again and have recommended you to my fellow squirrel lovers!

We order this product on a consistent basis. To be honest once a month at least. Every order is well balanced and fresh. Your nuts are so fresh some of them are almost have a sweet flavor. I used to buy from grocery stores, but after getting your great price, fast delivery, and the freshest nuts anywhere, this is the only place I buy from.
