We order the walnuts for our squirrels in the yard. It's a great price and I order 64 lbs. It's what will fit in a box and the shipping difference is so small (about $3.00) between 50 to 64 lbs it's worth the extra nuts.

The Walnuts are good sized and in good condition, not broken or cracked. I did have a problem with the lard bag they are packaged in for my 10 lb order. My other nuts came in 5 lb zip lock bags that are easy to get into. This is an oversized bag that is tied in a knot at the top and hard to access the nuts. ut I will order again and the nuts themselves are great.

This past year with working from home I noticed a few squirrels scampering about the parking lot of the apartment building and started tossing out whole roasted peanuts for them. When fall came I thought they would like some variety with other whole nuts and found anuts.com with a wonderful selection and great bulk pricing. The squirrels now come to my patio daily sometimes even peeking in through the sliding glass door as if to ask "more nuts?"

Ordered walnuts a few weeks ago., the order was promptly acknowledged, and shipped. Unfortunately, UPS delivered the order to some other address. When I called to let anuts know the deliver went astray, a replacement was sent out immediately. A neighbor finally delivered the original order (after opening the box). When I called to let anuts know the original order was here, and I wanted to pay for the replacement, since we would have ordered again anyway, I did not receive a call back. The company has exceptional customer service, and the products are great. I will definitely order from them again, and recommend the company with five star service.

I am on a keto diet. Nuts are one snack food I can eat, in moderation. I find the process of digging the nuts out of the shell slows me down on consuming and gives me more of the 'snacking' activity that one would get from other mindless munching, say on chips. I will be ordering more.

This batch I received was excellent. I received a previous batch that was horible. Every one out three was rotten. I posted that in the review. I immediately received a response from the company apologizing and they sent me a new order right away and this new batch was excellent. Out of 10 pds I think only 4 were bad. I am a many time repeat customer. I usually buy 10# each of these, brazil nuts and pecans. I mix them up and divide into 1 lb freezer bags. About half go in the freezer to keep them fresh. My macaw parrots love these as a treat and we enjoy munching on some too as they are so fresh and tasty!!

Sooo meaty! Place them in a 325 deg. F. oven for 20 minutes and enjoy a roasted delight. When you crack them open it’s like fresh Butter-baked bread without the carbs. I rarely get a roasting off the ground as my office mates and I start cracking and eating straight out of the delivery box. What a bunch of squirrels.

Not only is the quality superior, but unlike purchasing locally, I can order any time rather than only during holiday season and the price is more reasonable even with shipping costs. I would like to preface this review with the fact that I EAT these walnuts rather than feed them to squirrels. This was my second purchase of English Walnuts (in shell) from this company. My first purchase (August 2017) were rich, creamy, buttery, and decadently delicious! However, this new crop was disappointing. The walnuts are drier with less flavor. Some walnuts are shriveled around the edges. I assume it was a drier growing season or something--not sure why the difference in taste quality. With that said, this is a wonderful company with superb customer service. When I called to discuss the walnuts, they offered to fully reimburse my purchase. That is unheard of! Therefore, it raised the rating of these walnuts from a 2 star to a 4 star.

I've ordered the walnuts a number of times, and will continue to do so. They are delicious, fresh, and a good price. There is some inconsistency in the quality of the nuts--most are large and an almost creamy texture, some are small and dry/rotten, but the good ones far outnumber the bad, and I think it's the nature of nuts that this occurs no matter where you buy them.

The word's gotten out in this neighborhood....there are walnuts to be found. We've gone from feeding 7 or 8 squirrels to about 18. They come right to the door, or they sit on the windowsill watching until we notice. Squirrels are essential to the ecosystem. They help plant trees and fertilize the earth. I have been buying field run Walnuts for many years to give to the Squirrels I feed.I usually paid $2.50 a lb for those.The last two years I had a problem getting Field run & had to buy what the store said was # 1 grade Walnuts at $4.00 a lb ! Well,those Walnuts would be about utility grade compared to the Walnuts I just bought from Anuts ! While searching the internet for a provider to order in the shell walnuts from I came across the website for anuts.com what a find!!!

For the price you can't get anything better in my opinion. The nuts come fresh, clean and ripe to eat. I eat at least 5-7 nuts each night and they taste great. I would highly recommend to everyone to buy from ANUTS if you want clean and fresh tasting walnuts.

They get 8 "toes up" from my cockatoos and macaws (parrots only have 8 toes).

These are excellent quality English Walnuts - nice and clean. The birds love them. It's the first thing they pick out of their bowls. My African Grey eats the meat out of his half Walnut and then dips it in his water dish and drinks from the walnut.

I am a member of the International Squirrel Lover's Club in the USA and have been feeding squirrels for about 20 years. I never could find walnuts in the shell out of season and am so happy to find that I can get them all year round. The squirrels actually line up on our porch to get their "treat". Sometimes they even sit on the window sill and stare until we open the door. Okay, they trained us. Thanks!

A baker’s granddaughter, I remember all the years - though grandpa was retired - we'd by walnuts and all of us would watch TV while cracking them open. We had bins labels 'pieces' 'halves' and the most sought after 'whole'. We'd begin our 'nut-a-thon' the beginning of October and since both mom & grandma baked and sent cookies all over the world to friends and family, I must have cracked open a million walnuts while eating my fill. My dad would usually tell about the many boxes of homemade love that he got during WW11, although by the time the shoe boxes full of goodies got to them they were crumbs.
Cracking open the first nut from my purchase, I got a ‘whole’ perfect nut - one good enough to adorn a cake served as desert in one of the best restaurants. Tasting it, I was reminded of the fact that few today know what nuts taste like when they are fresh. Biting into the white meat, I relieved many wonderful memories!
Whether you're looking for nuts to eat raw, cook with (as I have these) or decorate a confection with, I do recommend theses, which I have daily in my oatmeal!

I had only purchased grocery store whole walnuts in shell before, had never tried anything else. These nuts are amazing! Soooo fresh and delicious. And of course so healthy for you. They arrive well packed and are delivered promptly, which is much appreciated. Shipping is a bit expensive so I don't buy as often as I prefer. Therefore it is a treat to myself when I do (and I confess, yes for my neighborhood squirrels too!). Although the nuts themselves are less expensive here than store bought, so it still ends up being a good value.
I can't eat store bought walnuts anymore! Am spoiled now! : ). (And so are my neighborhood squirrels!).
Life is short- treat yourself and others (including all animals) well!

While this order was way better than my previous order. It still was not up to standards. I get these for my birds and splitn them open in half. Yet these won't do that. You crack in half and the whole nut stays in one side. So end up going thru twice as many.

We purchased 20 pounds of bulk walnuts to feed the neighborhood squirrels. The price is the best we could find and the nuts arrived via UPS in a timely manner. I cannot tell you how they taste because we don't like walnuts, so the Squirrels are eating them all!!

Beautiful nuts. My guys love these. My lazy sulfur crested cockatoo has to have them cracked for him and most crack easily in half. At least the other cockatoos and my macaw can open them by themselves! What a nice treat!

I previously had ordered from another company,nutsite.com. They were more expensive and I received a package from them with one of the bags open and half empty. An awesome company. The order was shipped the very same day as the order was done, arrived sooner than expected and was pa ked beautifully. The product is fresh and in great condition. Walnuts are especially difficult, as you usually find "off" ones frequently. This has not happened with anuts.com. All of their products have arrived fresh.

I've bought several times from here and never had an issue with the quality of nuts. This last order however was definitely not up to par. So far the majority of nuts have been dry and shriveled. But when you've been buying nuts for decades you have to expect a bummer crop sometime. The service and great customer support are what will get me to always order from them. One suggestion would be the option to really buy in bulk. Especially for those of us that buy these for birds.

This was our third order of English walnuts and they were definitely inferior to the first two. Many of the nut meats were dried up and not of good quality. I'm not sure if its because they are out of season and old or, perhaps, from another vendor. Much to my disappointment, I notified customer service via e-mail and asked if this was a bad time to order the English. Though they say they answer all inquiries within 24 hours, its been two weeks and I've heard nothing. We, at the same time, ordered several pounds of almonds and hazelnuts which were all excellent.

Compared to the walnuts I was getting elsewhere, these walnuts are fresh. The crop this year was smaller than normal, but anuts.com's walnuts in shell are still good and meaty - not shriveled, dark and small. I will be buying my nuts in bulk from anuts.com from now on.
